With the July season looming on the horizon our boy Kedren Johnson (Marshall County) has been chosen for a very exciting and prestigious place at the Lebron James Skills Academy in Akron Ohio on July 5 thru the 7th.
The event features 80 of the top high school players in the country and has the additional prize of the top 30 players from this event will receive an invitation to participate in the Nike Global Challenge in Oregon against elite international competition.
Johnson, who recently narrowed his college choices down to Alabama, Vanderbilt, Memphis and Florida, had a fine week participating at the Deron Williams Skills Academy in Chicago for the nation's top point guard prospects.
Johnson, who runs with the Georgia Stars AAU program, will participate in numerous summer events culminating with a spot in the prestigious Peach Jam in Augusta, Georgia.
