Day one of the NBPA Players Top 100 Camp got underway on Wednesday with all teams playing two games apiece.
John Jenkins (Station Camp) made things memorable knocking down 20 points in the morning session and then dropping 19 more in the evening session to finish the day as the camp second leading scorer.
The Vanderbilt commitment knocked down four threes in each of the games and seems to be relishing the role of proving he belongs with the best players in the nation.
Leslie McDonald (Braircrest Christian) was forced to play more of a lead guard role in his squads games thus limiting his scoring output for the camp. He did manage 5 markers in the veneing session game.
Also special mention to Jon Hood (Kentucky) who played very well in the evening session. The Kentucky commitment plays for the Nashville Celtics so he is an honorary member of the Tennessee Prep Hoops family.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates.
