Jalen Steele Leads Travs in West Virginia

Confidence.

One of the true keys to making yourself a great player.

One could not argue Jalen Steele (Fulton), is playing with confidence.

Winning the state championship, averaging almost 18 points per game in the Pilot Rocky Top League against college competition and now the summer circuit.

The 17 and under Tennessee Travelers finished the Hoop Group Harley Davidson Jam at 3-1 with Steele leading the scoring throughout.

The rising junior dropped 31 against Team Adidas after scoring 21 in an earlier win.

This event also marked the return of my man William Moore (Chattanooga Christian). Coming back from a knee injury the rising senior scored 21 points in one of the Travs victories showing his game is coming back quite nicely.

Also playing well throughout the week was Kyle Teichmann (Brentwood). The 6-5 rising senior is letting his game show college coaches he belongs on the D1 level.

The Travelers 16's fresh off a championship at the Hoosier Shootout finished the Jam at 3-2 advancing to the final eight of the silver bracket in West Virginia.

Brandon Herman (Grace Baptist) continues to be the focal point of coaches and onlookers at the events.
