Insane Scoring Efforts Highlights Week #2 at the TPH Nashville Fall League

Sickness and the ACT kept some of the rosters lean but everyone filled in admirably and some of the scoring efforts were off the charts. Lets see who did what and where at Week #2 of the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League.

 

 

 

North Carolina 123

Syracuse 94

Brad Allen (Rossview) and Matthew Norl (Kenwood) dropped 31 and 30 respectively as North Carolina poured in the points against a very shorthanded Syracuse squad to the tune of 123-94.

Carson Deyo (Independence) added 19, Austin Fisher (Clarksville Academy) pitched in with 15 and Cannon Campbell (Rossview) finished with 12 for North Carolina (1-1). They will face Duke (1-1) this Saturday at CPA.

Johnny Jackson (Rossview) was the lone Syracuse scorer in double digits with 16 markers. Syracuse (0-2) looks to get on the right side of the ledger as they battle Clemson (0-2) on Saturday.

 

 

Auburn 117

Florida 87

Caleb Hollander (Home School) had a terrific outing scoring a league record 60 points as Auburn remained unblemished with a 117-87 win over Florida.

Joining Hollander on the score sheets were DeQuan Summer (Hillwood) with 25 points and double digit assists and James Coe (Jackson County) who finished with 15.

Mike Parker (Centennial) had another fine game for Florida finishing with 26 points to lead his squad. David Smith (Cane Ridge) added 19, Calvin Bak (Alabama) pitched in with 17 and Will McBee (Loretto) finished with 13.

Auburn (2-0) puts their unbeaten record on the line this Saturday against fellow unbeaten Tennessee (2-0) while Florida (0-2) looks to rebound against Vanderbilt (0-2).

 

 

Kentucky 94

Vanderbilt 91

Kentucky remained on the unbeaten side of the score card as Ruot Monyyong (White's Creek) and Coulter Dotson (Creek Wood) dropped 32 and 27 markers respectively and the Cats pushed past Vanderbilt 94-91 in Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League action at CPA.

Eric Thompson (White's Creek) and Chantz Hillsman (Cane Ridge) scored 23 each for Vanderbilt. Gabe Reasor (BGA) added 15 while Isaiah Bowers (White's Creek) finished with 14.

Kentucky (2-0) puts their perfect record on the line against Virginia (2-0) also looking to stay unblemished. Vanderbilt (0-2) hopes to rally from this performance as they tangle with Florida (0-2) this Saturday at CPA.

 

 

Virginia 84

Duke 62

Kenny Cooper (FRA) made it look easy as the Lipscomb signee dropped 22 points and Virginia moved to 2-0 with an 84-62 win over Duke.

Christian Bell (Mt. Juliet) added 13 while Tyler Faulkenberry (Mt. Juliet) pitched in with 10 in the win.

Damion Baugh (Cane Ridge) had a special game for Duke. The youngster totaled 19 points and played very well against the seasoned veteran. Malcolm Walker (Independence) added 14 in the loss.

Virginia (2-0) puts that unbeaten record on the line against fellow unbeaten Kentucky (2-0) while Duke (1-1) takes on traditional rival North Carolina (1-1).

 

 

Tennessee 86

Clemson 66

Evan Ragsdale (CPA) led a foursome of double digit scorers with 20 as Tennessee remained unbeaten at 2-0 with an 86-66 win over Clemson this past Saturday at the Nashville Fall League at CPA.

Jimmy Greer (Cane Ridge) and John Carter (Summit) scored 13 apiece and Jaden Lewis (Summit) added 10 in the victory.

Deonte Alley (Blackman) was the lone double digit scorer for Clemson with 17.

Tennessee (2-0) goes head to head with fellow East Division unbeaten Auburn (2-0) this Saturday at CPA while Clemson (0-2) looks to come on the right side of the equation this week against Syracuse (0-2).
