Hamilton Gets the Gold Ball…..Lawson’s Sweep Award Ceremony

Romero Hill (Hamilton) knocks down two late foul shots while Brentwood's three at the buzzer falls short leading the Wildcats of Hamilton to the Class AAA state title 65-62.

Brentwood got off to a hot start taking a 13-6 first quarter lead before a Hamilton barrage led by Jordan Cummings (Hamilton) brought the Wildcats back and they took the lead heading into the half 27-26.

Hamilton appeared to have things under control as they held their lead with work from the brothers Lawson. Brentwood began to carve away the deficit before a driving lay in and ensuing and one from Grant Teichmann (Brentwood) put the Bruins up 62-61.

Cummings scored the last of his game high 19 as Hamilton grabbed the lead back before the final charity tosses from Hill.
