Glover Chooses Lipscomb

Recruiting is a funny business, right after the first session of the July period many players make their college decisions and in Tennessee we are experiencing the same trend.

John Ross Glover (USJ) put to rest all speculation and will attend Lipscomb University next season.

Glover becomes the third member of the Class of 2012 to pledge D1 after his classmates Caleb Chowbay and Craig Bradshaw committed to play for conference rival Belmont.

Glover is a smart player who has the strength and skill level to create scoring opportunities for himself. He spends an inordinate amount of time at the foul line, knowing how to draw his defender into him and his physical prowess allows him to convert most of those scoring chances.

Glover is underrated athletically and will be a nice fit in the Bison system. "I felt this was the right place for me" says the rising senior. "My parents and I trust the coaches; love the school and the style of play".

Glover chose Lipscomb despite interest from the likes of Belmont, Princeton, Lehigh and Ciolumbia.

Lipscomb is a proud member of the Atlantic Sun Conference and is coached by Scott Sanderson
