Ricky Williams (Liberty Tech) scored a game high 20 points and led a furious first quarter surge that lifted the Crusaders to a 63-50 district 13AAA championship game win over JCM.
JCM got the best of Liberty in the regular season finale and came into the tourney with identical district marks.
Kendall Anthony and Tarius Johnson added 14 and 13 respectively for the Crusaders.
Kaneal Windom led JCM with 16.
Middle Tennessee Game of the Week
Collinwood 77
Summertown 76
Tanner Andrews (Collinwood) hit a buzzer beater to lift Collinwood past Summertown and capture the district 11A crown 77-76.
Joe West led Collinwood with 21 points. He was joined in the scoring column by Tyler Thompson with 18, Jacob Gobble with 16 and Andrews added 13.
Logan Harville led Summertown with 30. Class A Mr. Basketball finalist Wes Long added 20 in the loss.
East Tennessee Game of the Week
Austin East 62

Austin East made sure of no slipups this year as they disposed of the Falcons 62-44 to capture the 3AA district crown.
Tourney MVP Chance Jones (Austin East) came up huge scoring 17 and sophomore stalwart Brandon Lopez (Austin East) added 16 for the Roadrunners.
Jalen Steele (Fulton) led all scorers with 18 in the losing effort.
