Fast Break Basketball Club Fall League Begins in Cleveland

Week #1 of the Fast Break Basketball Club (FBBC) High School Fall League got underway this past Tuesday in Cleveland with three games on the docket.

 

Fire 70

Ice 59

 

Logan Cox (Bradley Central) led five players in double digits with 17 as the Fire melted the Ice 70-59 in the opening game. Joining Cox in the score book were Alberto Muniz (Cleveland) and TyQwon Ware (Cleveland) with 11 each while Walker McGowan (Bradley Central) and Chris Reynolds (TCPS) each added 10.

Skyler Farrar (McMinn Central) led the Ice with 15 followed by Cantrel Ware (Cleveland) with 13 and Anfernee Scott (Cleveland) with 12.

 

 

Deep3 63

H2O 56

 

Brandon Krews (Walker Valley) led all scorers with 22 as Deep3 doused a furious H2O comeback to cling on to a 63-56 victory. Deep3 came out of the gates on fire building a 21-2 lead behind timely scoring from Krews, Tristan Spradling (Meigs County) and Austin Harwood (Walker Valley).

Kendrick Thompson (Cleveland) and Jonathan Vecchio (Cleveland) led their squad with 19 each.

Spradling chipped in with 19 and Harwood added 14 in the win.

 

 

 

Attack 92

Storm 57

 

Sam Gregory (Walker Valley) and Levi Woods (Meigs County) scored 30 and 24 respectively as the Attack calmed the Storm 92-57 in the final contest of the day.

Brad McCurdy (Bradley Central) added 14 in the Attack victory.

Zy Moore (Meigs County), an incoming freshman, had a big night scoring 28 markers in the loss.
