Ensworth Captures Battle of the State

In the end the host team came out victorious.

Ensworth behind 26 large from Gary Pope (Ensworth) and a valuable 19 from Taverres Jefferson (Ensworth) bested Columbia Central 57-50 to capture the Battle of the State crown.

Pope was outstanding all weekend including a 29 point outburst against White House in the opening rounds of the event.

Jonathan Cooper (Columbia Central) was tops for Columbia with 10.
