East Tennessee Pyro Lose in Jordan Classic Championship Game

 

The East Tennessee Pyro advanced to the title game of the Jordan Classic in Charlotte this past weekend falling to the Queen City Prophets despite 19 points from Camion Patrick (Lenoir City) and 14 more from Terrence Hall (Lenoir City).

Pool play began with a 64-52 win over Atlanta Select; Jordan Hall (Lenoir City) led the charge with 15 points while Ethan Hayes (Anderson County) added 13.

 

A 77-52 victory over Lake Norman NC with Patrick recording a triple/double behind 10 points, 13 boards and 10 assists. Cory Poteet (Campbell County) led the scoring with 13 points, Jordan Hall and Terrence Hall added 12 and Rian Hall (Oak Ridge) ended up with 11.

 

Atlanta Red was victim three after a 72-55 victory, Jordan Hall lit it up with 26 points in the win. Rian Hall and Poteet scored 11 for the Pyro in the win.

 

In the semi-final against the favored Augusta Metro squad the Pyro poured it on winning 62-39 behind 22 from Rian Hall. Hall also found time for 8 assists and 4 steals. Jordan Hall added 14 and Patrick finished with 10.

 

Marcellus Roberts (Knoxville Central) and Hayes played very well inside holding the much bigger Metro team down.

 

The Tennessee Shockers finished in third place in the tournament behind some solid play from Oterriah Lee (CAK) and Cory Fagan (Oak Ridge).
