Holiday tournament action was prevalent all over the state with various events taking place not only in Tennessee but all over the country and even out of the country in some instances.
Here is how some of the teams from East Tennessee faired in those tourneys. We will have Middle and West Tennessee holiday tournament results tomorrow.
Seymour Christmas Tournament

Clarence Wilson (Carver) scored a game high 30 points as the Cobras took the title with a 64-56 victory over McMinn Central.
Bay Hill Classic (Panama City, FL)

Dickson County 58
Jervon Johnson (Ooltewah) scored 21 points and garnered MVP honors as the Owls slid past fellow Tennessee squad Dickson County to capture the Bay Hill Classic in Florida. Johnson was outstanding throughout the tourney averaging around 25 per contest. JaQuan Lewis (Dickson County) had a nice event as well including a 40 point outing against one of the local teams.
New People's Bank Holiday Classic

Justin Wandell (Elizabethton) scored a game high 25 points and lifted the Fighting Cyclones of Elizabethton past Morristown West to capture the New People's Bank Holiday Classic. Andrew Lee (Morristown West) was high man for the Trojans with 12.
Harriman Christmas Classic

Meigs County 54
Alex Fountain (Wartburg Central) and Brad Richardson (Wartburg Central) scored 26 and 24 points respectively as Wartburg Central slipped past Meigs County at the Harriman Christmas Classic. Levi Woods (Meigs County) led the Tigers with 16 points.
Maryville Christmas Invitational Tournament

Treyton Harris (Siegel) scored a game high 19 points as the Stars of Siegel shined through the field at the Maryville Christmas Invitational Tournament. Harris had a big week including a sparkling 30 point effort against Austin East. Rising freshman Kelvion Jackson (Fulton) led the Falcons with 15 points while Micah Goss (Fulton) added 11.
Lenoir City Christmas Classic

Columbia Central 62
Cory Poteet (Campbell County) was a man on fire busting for 27 points as the Cougars dispatched of Columbia Central to win the Lenoir City Christmas Classic. Poteet was assisted in the scoring column by Nick Litton (Campbell County) who finished with 20. Jarvis Webster (Columbia Central) led the Lions with 20 points.

Drew Standifer (Bearden) was a young man possessed, dropping 23 markers as the Bulldogs of Bearden outlasted a very good MBA squad 59-52 to capture the 30th annual Super 16 tournament on their home floor. Standifer was outstanding the whole tourney including a huge 35 point effort against CAK in the semi-finals. DeQuan Wright (Bearden) and Jack Graham (Bearden) pitched in with 10 points each in the victory. Austin Blackwell (MBA) concluded a fine week leading his squad with 19 points.
Jon Loden Holiday Classic

Trey Stewart (Grace Christian) dangled 25 points as the Rams of Grace Christian roared past Sequoyah 51-40 to capture the title at the Jon Loden Holiday Classic. Bryce Kendrick (Grace Christian) added 15 points in the victory.

Zach Howard (Science Hill) took home MVP honors as the Hilltoppers of Science Hill dominated action at the Merv Lopes Classic in sunny Hawaii. Howard was joined on the glitter squad by Will Adams (Science Hill) and C.J. Good (Science Hill).
