The 6th annual BCAT All-Star game brought some of the best players from all corners of the state to the friendly confines of Middle Tennessee Christian School.
Divided into East and West squads the scoring started slow with both teams feeling each other out and got rolling after some timely buckets from Jimario Rivers (Kenwood) of the West team.
The score was knotted at the half at 45.
The second half saw some a nice exchange of buckets from Desonta Bradford (Humboldt) of the West team and Charles Sutton (LaVergne) of the East team but in the end the East team prevailed 90-81.
Sutton lead the East in scoring with 19 followed closely by Andre Wilson (Austin East) with 18.
The Siegel duo of Charles Clark (Siegel) and Ryan Jones (Siegel) finished with 16 and 14 respectively. Jones also speared double digit rebounds from the guard position.
Additional scoring for the East squad came from Brice Cusick (Jefferson County) with 8, Tyler Yoder (Stone Memorial) with 7, Jacob Williams (Wilson Central) added 4, Austin Arrington (Seymour) contributed 3 and Derrick Spears (MTCS) finished with 2.
Jon Rosshirt (Wilson Central) and Kendrick Thompson (Cleveland) played quality minutes but did not score.
Rivers was high man for the West with 21 while Bradford added 20.
