Division Titles Starting to Clear Up after Week #3 Action at the Rocky Top Fall League

Week #3 was another exciting time in the Rocky Top Fall League. My apologies for the lateness of the updates as I was involved in an accident this past Friday that totaled my car but I was ok. Lets see what went down at the RTFL.

 

 

 

 

 

Team Pearce 89

Team Holt 86

 

Blue Cain (Knoxville Catholic) continues his tear through the league dropping 31 markers as Team Pearce remains unbeaten in the Worldwide Division with a narrow 89-86 win over Team Holt.

 

Joining Cain in the scoring column were Spencer Boshears (Campbell County) with 19 and Josiah Brown (Grace Christian) with 12.

 

Hayden Moseley (Bearden) had a spectacular day scoring a game high 34 points in the narrow defeat.

 

Jaxon Williams (Grainger) added 18 while Dallas Carbaugh (Farragut) closed with 15 and Emmanuel Atkins (Grainger) finished with 10.

 

Team Pearce (3-0) puts that unbeaten streak on the line tomorrow night as they tangle with Team Chandler (1-2).

 

Team Holt (2-1) looks to bounce back to the winning side of the basketball ledger taking on a surging Team Biven (2-1).

 

 

Team Chandler 101

Aydan Rauton (South Doyle) scored 25 points as Team Chandler got their first win of the season with a 101-87 triumph over Team Lane.

 

Balanced scoring was the mantra for Team Chandler as five player finished with double figures including B.J. Edwards (Knoxville Catholic) with 21, John Tolsma (Knoxville Webb) added 19, Quintin Carr (South Doyle) closed with 14 and Alex Doerger (Knoxville Catholic) added 13 in the win.

 

Connor Martin (Anderson County) and Brandon McGhee (Anderson County) scored 25 and 23 respectively for Team Lane in the loss.

 

Jeremiah Jeffers (Knoxville Central) playing to help them have a full squad added 19 while Jake Lane (Knoxville Halls) added 12.

 

Team Chandler (1-2) looks to increase that win streak as they battle league leader Team Pearce (3-0) while Team Lane (0-3) takes on Team Ingram (1-2).

 

 

Team Biven 96

Luke Lentz (Knoxville Webb) dropped 33 markers as Team Biven came from behind late in one of the best game thus far in league play to capture a 96-93 win over a tough Team Ingram.

 

Dillon Atwell (Farragut) finished with 17, Isaiah Smith (Farragut) added 16 and Gabriel Pastrana (Knoxville West) had 12 in the win.

 

The balanced Team Biven overcame an outstanding effort from Elijah Bredwood (Bearden) who scored the twine for 47 points in the loss.

 

Wyatt Shomaker (Bearden) finished with 16 in the loss while Dykiese Perez (Knoxville Central) closed with 12 in defeat.

 

Team Biven (2-1) looks to increase their two game win streak as they battle Team Holt (2-1).

 

Team Ingram (1-2) looks to bounce back as they battle Team Lane (0-3).

Eli Walls (Powell) was outstanding dropping 30 while teammate Taj Kimber (Fulton) added 29 as Team Garner got their first win of the season with a 101-75 win over Team Cate.

 

Gage Hutchison (Carter) finished with 16 while Austin Heard (Powell) closed with 13.

 

Luke Carter (CAK) led Team Cate with 22 markers.

 

Evan Coffman (CAK) added 18 while Damin Holt (Fulton) closed with 16 in the loss.

 

Team Garner (1-2) puts that win streak on the line against Team White (1-2).

 

Team Cate (1-2) looks to bounce back against Team Buell (0-3).

 

 

Team Dawson 103

Danny Stanton (Sevier County) dropped 26 and Lukas Walls (Knoxville Webb) made his league debut special with 21 as Team Dawson remained unbeaten with a 103-67 win over a shorthanded Team Buell.

 

Caleb Tarwater (Sevier County) finished with 15, Altin Perry (FBA) added 14 and Jaylon Greene (Knoxville Webb) had 13 in the win.

 

Cole Gibson (William Blount) had a nice game finishing with 24 points.

 

Grant Campbell (Heritage) added 16 while Riley Everett (William Blount) finished with 13.

Trey Morrow (Scott) scored a game high 25 points as Team Feltner moved to 3-0 with an 81-70 win over Team White in Week #3 action at the Rocky Top High School Fall League.

 

Jaylen Roberts (Karns) finished with 17 while Nick Liakonis (Hardin Valley) added 16 in the win.

 

Jose Rodriguez (Concord Christian) led five in double digits with 13 points.

 

Chase Morgan (Concord Christian) and Juan Rodriguez (Concord Christian) had 12 points each, Aiden Lacey (Pigeon Forge) closed with 11 and Colby Raymer (Kingston) finished with 10.

 

Team Feltner (3-0) prepares for an epic showdown against fellow unbeaten Team Dawson (3-0) up for grabs the Prestige Division lead.

 

Team White (1-2) takes on Team Garner (1-2).
