District and Final Regular Season Scoring List

One of our favorite features is back. Coaches have told me this is what they wait for each week. I have scoured the news sources from around the state and come up with the top scoring efforts. This has become increasingly harder as the local newspapers are no longer putting box scores in the paper. I could use your help if you find or know of anyone scoring over 25 points in a game, please let me know. I can be reached at andre@tnprephoops.com or @tnprephoops on twitter.

Region hoops tipped off last night we will have a region scoring list next week upon completion of those games. Here is the final regular season scoring list including the district games.

Caden Mills (Van Buren County) starts our superlatives section with super special mention. The Tennessee Tech signee surpassed the 3,000 point mark recently making him just the 22nd player in the history of the state to reach this milestone. What an accomplishment.

Bryce Mason (McMinn Central) has had a fantastic career himself, the senior guard surpassed the 2,000 point barrier and is on the cusp of becoming the schools all-time leading scorer.

Jack Sompayrac (Knoxville Catholic) may be a football player but this dedicated athlete slipped past the 1,000 point barrier as a hooper. Congrats to one of my favorite kids ever.

Deonte Davis (Cleveland) the talented senior wing recently surpassed the coveted 1,000 point barrier for the Blue Raiders and will get a brick with his name upon it in the spiffy new locker room.

Jonathan Clausi (Father Ryan) closed out a solid senior season putting his name on Father Ryan historians books with his 1,000 point.
