It was a huge week for rising senior guard Derrick Spears (MTCS).
The 6'2 shooting sensation notched 25 points in a win over Friendship Christian keeping the Cougars unbeaten on the young season.
For his efforts we have chosen Spears as the Middle Tennessee Player of the Week for Week #2.
To cap off a sterling week Spears also ended his recruitment choosing to play for Coach Don Rekoske and the Lions of Bryan College.
