Deep Shots Were Flying at TPH Nashville Fall League..Week #3 Results Here

Week #3 saw the clearing of the division leaders and some serious scoring from some unlikely sources.

Very disappointed in the attendance for the games this past week over 1/3 of the players who were on rosters did not make an appearance. I appreciate the few who told me of they would not be attending. Hopefully this week will clear all this up.

For the players who did attend it was a big week for certain. Lets how things laid out in Week #3 of the Tennessee Prep Hoops Nashville Fall League.

Tennessee 89

LSU 75

D'Monte Evans (Cane Ridge) made his presence felt early and often as the rising senior drenched 35 markers on LSU lifting a revitalized Tennessee squad to an 89-75 victory.

Jordan Jeffries (Blackman) added 18 while Cedriontis Wilson (Blackman) and Thomas Booker (East Nashville) finished with 12 and 11 respectively.

With the win Tennessee moves to 2-1 with two straight wins and will welcome Florida (1-2) this Saturday at CPA.

James McPherson (Brentwood) had a big day for LSU notching 26 markers in the loss. LSU drops to 0-3 with several narrow losses and looks to right the ship with an early morning battle against Kentucky (2-1) on Saturday.

Tanner Tapp (Brentwood) added 18 for LSU in the loss.

Wake Forest looks to get back to their winning ways this Saturday against Georgia Tech (0-3).

Vanderbilt puts their 3-0 record on the level this Saturday against a tough Duke (2-1) squad while Florida looks to bounce back against a tough and streaking Tennessee (2-1) team.

North Carolina 62

Duke 59

Missed foul shots would prove to be costly in a close contest as Kenny Cooper (FRA) drained 21 markers and North Carolina kept their season mark unbeaten with a hard fought 62-59 win over previously unblemished Duke.

Micah Davis (CPA) led Duke with 12 points ahead of a pair at 11 each, Leon Howard (Nashville Overton) and Chico Plunkett (Creek Wood).

Deonte Alley (Blackman) and Donovan Henry (MLK) recorded 14 and 10 respectively for the winners who will put their gaudy 3-0 mark on the table against surging Clemson (1-2).
