The Eagles of Carson Newman added their fourth outstanding recruit from the Class of 2009 to the fold with Collin Crane (Karns).
Crane, who played this summer with the Mid-State Ballerz, Brings intensity and good size for his position to the fold. At 6'5 he is able to create his own shot and has unlimited range from three. His style will be perfect for the record setting Southern Atlantic Conference scoring champs. The Eagles set the SAC record for points per game at 90.3 last season.
Crane joins a sterling cast of commitments for Coach Dale Clayton, who is only four wins away from 300. Joe Meady (Knoxville Carter), Trey Carruthers (Harpeth) and David Ware (Walker Valley) all made the pledge to call Jefferson City home for the next four seasons.
