As the high school season gets underway for real next week some seniors have some really tough life decisions to come to grips with.

As a recruited athlete should you make your decision before your senior year and play stress free or should you wait for perhaps a better offer?

My advise has always been take the offer and have a great senior season.

Jake Allsmiller (CPA) did just that.

The senior shooting guard will take his game to Georgia Southern next fall and play for the Eagles.

Allsmiller, who played this past summer with D13 Nashville Elite, is one of the best shooters in the state and will be a welcome addition for Coach Mark Byington and the Sun Belt stalwarts.

Allsmiller becomes the 9th player from the Class of 2014 to commit and the second player from CPA.

Joining Braxton Bonds who earlier committed to Liberty.

Allsmiller will now concentrate on heloing the Lions of CPA capture their third consecutive Class AA state title this year.
