Down in Chattanooga the CABC (Chattanooga Area Basketball Club) Fall League entered their second week at CSAS. Here are the results.
Michigan State 92
North Carolina 67
Clynt Bell (Georgia) led a six-pack of double digits scorers with 17 as Michigan State moved to 2-0 on the young season with a 92-67 drubbing of North Carolina.
Joining Bell in the scoring column were Jeremiah Nason (Boyd Buchanan) and Alex Watkins (Tyner Academy) with 16 apiece, Jermichael Poole (Chattanooga Central) with 14, Devonte Jones (Tyner Academy) added 13 and Tyler Byrd (Notre Dame) closed things out with 10.
Amedeo Giusanni (Baylor) took scoring honors for North Carolina with 15.
Hank Norton (Georgia) and Eddie Hitchcock (East Ridge) added 11 and 10 respectively in the loss.
Nick Moore (CSAS) scored 15 markers on his home floor as Chattanooga garnered their first win of the young season with a 71-43 trouncing of Duke at the CABC in Chattanooga.
Assisting Moore in the score book were Sam Allison (Signal Mountain) with 14 and Darius Graves (CSAS) with a cool 13.
Jaylen Smith (Georgia) took game high scoring honors with 16 despite the loss.
Old Dominion 68
Alec Rattanaxay (Georgia) nailed 22 markers as Old Dominion moved to 2-0 with a 68-53 victory over Vanderbilt.
Caleb Story (Georgia) chipped in with 16 while Preston Pickett (Marion County) added 10 in the victory.
Eric Hale (Bledsoe County) led Vanderbilt, who fell to 0-2, with 18.
Josh Fikkert (Chattanooga Christian) finished with 10 in the loss.
