Auburn 92
Kentucky 90
Chico Plunkett (Creek Wood) and Caleb Hollander (Home School) scored 28 and 24 points respectively as Auburn crawled past Kentucky in overtime to the tune of 92-90.
One of the best game in the league thus far, Kentucky crawled back into the game after trailing early behind 23 from Ross Cummings (Creek Wood) and 22 from Clay Washburn (CPA), who had a chance to put the game away in overtime but his three just rimmed out.
James Coe (Jackson County) scored 12 and DeQuan Summer (Hillwood) pitched in 10 in the extra time victory.
For Kentucky (2-2), who will battle Clemson (2-2) in the 3rd place contest this Saturday at CPA, Walter Crawford (Mt. Pleasant) and D'Marco Holley (White's Creek) scored 12 each and Ruot Monyyong (White's Creek) added 10.
Auburn (3-1) makes a date with Duke (2-2) in the 2nd place game this Saturday.
Virginia 95
Syracuse 72
Kenny Cooper (FRA) scored 21 points as Virginia remained unbeaten defeating Syracuse 95-72 in Nashville Fall League action this past Saturday at CPA. Virginia (4-0) secured a spot in the title game against Tennessee this Saturday.
Five players finished in double digits for Virginia incluidng Tyler Faulkenberry (Mt. Juliet) with 20, Abdul Akinola (Cane Ridge) with 12, Christian Bell (Mt. Juliet) with 11 and Nick Murphy (FRA) with 10.
Donovan Henry (MLK) led all scorers with 31 for Syracuse. Omar Lyons (Siegel) added 15 for Syracuse who will battle Vanderbilt in the opening game at Championship Saturday.
Tennessee 91
Florida 65
Jarrell Reeves (Blackman) led a panel of five with 21 points as Tennessee (4-0) advanced to the title game with a 91-65 win over Florida. Tennessee will take on Virginia for the crown at Championship Saturday at CPA.
Jimmy Greer (Cane Ridge) dropped 19, Jaden Lewis (Summit) added 18, Jacob Nelson (Blackman) finished with 14 and Jacoyah Webster (Columbia Central) finished with 10 for Tennessee.
K.J. Lesure (Centennial) tied for game scoring honors with 21 for Florida (1-3). Adam Fleming (Loretto) pitched in with 10. Florida will battle North Carolina at Championship Saturday.
Clemson 89
North Carolina 68
Deonte Alley (Blackman) scored 28 points lifting Clemson past North Carolina 89-68 in Tennessee Prep Hoops Fall League action. Clemson (2-2) will take on Kentucky (2-2) at Championship Saturday in the 3rd place contest.
Bryce Williams (Blackman) continues his outstanding play with 19 markers, Trey Phifer (Big Sandy) added 17 and Donovan Sims (Blackman) finished with 13.
Cannon Campbell (Rossview) led North Carolina with 17 points followed by Austin Fisher (Clarksville Academy) with 15, Matthew Norl (Kenwood) with 13 and Brad Allen (Rossview) with 11.
North Carolina (1-3) will take on Florida at Championship Saturday in Nashville.
Vanderbilt 95
Duke 91
Isaiah Bowers (White's Creek) led a group of five in double digits with 24 as Vanderbilt garnered their first win of the season in a hard fought 95-91 win over Duke.
Vanderbilt (1-3) will play in the opening game on Championship Saturday against Syracuse.
Eric Thompson (White's Creek) added 22, Sawyer Taylor (Station Camp) chipped in with 17, Austin Kirby (Hendersonville) got 16 and Chantz Hillsman (Cane Ridge) finished with 10 for Vanderbilt.
Evan Heskje (McGavock) took game high scoring honors with 26 for the short handed Duke squad. Malcolm Walker (Independence) added 20, Will Midlick (Rossview) threw in 15 and Damion Baugh (Cane Ridge) finished with 10.
Duke (2-2) takes on Auburn in the 2nd place game on Championship Saturday.
