Team Matthews 93
Team Lee 83
Team Matthews notched six players in double digits as they bested a short-handed Team Lee 93-83 to capture the Lofton Division championship and set up a showdown on Championship Saturday for the title at 3:00 against Bradshaw Division winner Team Coffin.
Dylan Brewster (Lenior City) led the scoring with 20, all in the second half, for Team Matthews who finished the regular season at 5-0.
Tyler Steinmetz (Oakdale) finished with 18, Tyler Yoder (Stone Memorial) added 15, Zach Jenkins (Loudon) and Justin Simmons (Stone Memorial) finished with 11 while Luke Matthews (Stone Memorial) closed out the scoring with 10.
Team Matthews needed every point to overcome the sensational performance of Isaiah Campbell (Bearden) who scored a game high 29 markers for Team Lee, who finished the regular season with a 1-4 mark.
Braden Strickland (Sequoyah) contributed 18 to the cause for Team Lee.
Team Lee will tangle with Team Smith in the fifth place game on Championship Saturday on October 12th at MaryvilleCollege.
Team Watts 73
Team Jackson 70
Darius Filer (Fulton) led a furious comeback from 15 down at the half as Team Watts closed the season with three straight wins including this 73-70 gem over Team Jackson.
Filer, Brady Nease (Union County), Lannom Sowell (Signal Mountain) and Kelvin Jackson (Fulton) all made big plays during the comeback.
The effort offset an outstanding shooting display from Stephen Butts (Scott), who scored the first 19 points of the game and finished with a game high 29 markers.
Joining Filer in the scorebook were Nease with 16, Jackson with 15, including two clutch foul shots in the waning seconds and 12 from the big man Sowell.
Tee Sanford (Knoxville Central) finished with 14, Jordan Bowden (Carter) added 12 and Caylor Tallent (Maryville) dropped 11 in the tough loss.
Team Watts, who finishes the regular season at 3-2, will lace 'em up tight on October 12th as they will battle Team Feltner in the third place game at Maryville College.
Team Jackson welcomes Team Riddick in the fourth place contest.

John Fulkerson (Dobyns-Bennett) finished his monster game with 22 points and double digit boards as Team Feltner needed every bucket as they eked out a narrow win over a determined Team Riddick 58-53.
John Bryant (Jefferson County) added 13 in the win for Team Feltner who concluded the regular season with a 3-2 mark.
The one-two punch of Isaac Edmiston (Maryville) and Nico White (Alcoa) scored 19 and 17 respectively for Team Riddick who finished the regular season at 2-3.
With the win Team Feltner moves into Championship Saturday on October 12th against Team Watts in the third place game at 1:00 at Maryville College.
Team Riddick will venture to the friendly confines of the MaryvilleCollege campus as they battle Team Jackson in the fourth place tilt at 12:00.
Team Coffin 89
Team Sharpe 66
Tyler Nichols (Elizabethton) and Zeke Clark (Elizabethton) proved to be a devastating one-two combination as Team Coffin defeated Team Sharpe 89-66.
With the victory combined with the narrow loss by Team Burns, Team Coffin wins the Bradshaw Division regular season championship and will face off with unbeaten Team Matthews at 3:00 on Championship Saturday at Maryville College on October 12th.
Nichols, who finished with 23, and Clark, who added 22, were outstanding in this game on both ends of the floor.
Dustin Day (David Crockett) added 14 and steady as a rock contributor Grayson Ball (Sullivan North) finished with 12 for Team Coffin who finished the regular season with a 4-1 mark.
Thomas Mackey (Gatlinburg-Pittman) dropped 20 for Team Sharpe who finishes the regular season with a 1-4 mark and will do battle on Championship Saturday against Team Driscoll at 10:00.
Gunnar Gibson (Seymour) added 12 in the loss for Team Sharpe.
Team Garman 79

Team Garman rode the efforts of Xavier Maddox (Oak Ridge) and Devin Sibley (Karns) to a 79-67 victory over a short-handed Team Driscoll this past Saturday at the Rocky Top Fall League at Seymour High School.
Maddox, who ended up with 20 and Sibley, who notched 18, helped Team Garman finish the regular season with a 4-1 mark and a date in the second place game on October 12th at Championship Saturday against Team Burns at 2:00.
Cameron Turner (Farragut) led all scorers with 21 points on the afternoon. Team Driscoll will do battle against Team Sharpe at 10:00 at Maryville College on Championship Saturday.
Team Smith 74

Team Smith put on a shooting display hitting 15 three's and came up victorious with a 74-71 win over Team Burns.
Zak Carter (Hardin Valley) was a steady force notching 24 points on a variety of put backs, tough lay ins and outside daggers to lead Team Smith, who finishes the regular season with a 2-3 mark.
Tanner Hill (Grace Christian) was a shooting star knocking in 20 points while Luke Sheppard (Grace Christian) added 15 and Kenny White (Knoxville Halls) finished with 11.
Sam Gregory (Bradley Central) led Team Burns, who finishes the regular season with a 3-2 mark, with 18 points.
Zy Moore (Meigs County) made his Rocky Top debut a memorable one notching 15 points in the narrow loss. Moore is a rising freshman.
Levi Woods (Meigs County) added 11 and Alex Watkins (Tyner Academy) finished with 10.
Team Burns will play against Team Garman at 2:00 on October 12th in the second place game on Championship Saturday at Maryville College.
Team Smith gets a date with Team Lee at 11:00.
