Camels Corral Memphis Sleeper

Curtis Phillips (White Station) may not be a household name to a lot of folks in the state.

The 6'3 rising senior plays at one of the top high schools in the state and is often overshadowed by higher profile teammates such as Leron Black and Chris Chiozza.

Make no mistake however Phillips can play.

To prove our assumption the rising senior has pledged to attend Campbell University next fall.

The Camels play in the Big South and are coached by first year man Kevin McGeehan, who came to the Camels as an assistant at powerhouse Richmond the past several seasons.

Phillips beomces the 10th player in the Class of 2014 to commit D1 and the fourth player from the vaunted Spartans squad after Black, Chiozza and Davell Roby.
