CABC Fall League Championship News and Notes

Down in Chattanooga the 4th edition of the CABC Fall League concluded play this past week with another successful season.

 

 

 

 

 

The Spurs behind 12 markers from Vandrelle Wilson (East Hamilton) bested the Cavaliers 66-58 to bring home the CABC crown. Max Shulman (McCallie) added 11 while league MVP Jake Flippo (Soddy Daisy) and Kentrell Evans (Brainerd) pitched in with 10 points each.

Jesse Walker (Brainerd) and Bo Ristonovic (Baylor) each finished with 12 for the Cavs.

In earlier action for the 5th place game, K.J. McCauley (Tyner Academy) and Kevin Cameron (Tyner Academy) scored 24 and 20 points respectively as the Warriors bested the Knicks 86-58. Darius Graves (CSAS) added 18 in the win.

Vesta Melvin (Brainerd) led the Knicks with 13.

In the 3rd place game, Winston Tulloss (Sale Creek) scored 14 as the Bulls dropped the Jazz 60-56. Ryan Rhodes (Chattanooga Christian) added 11 in the victory.

Demba Sow (Brainerd) led the Jazz with 13 followed by Beyuan Hendricks (Baylor) with 11.

As we mentioned earlier, Flippo was named the MVP of the league and heads the 1st team All-League squad.
