One week left in the regular season and the league races are clearing up. The Fall League takes a break this Saturday for the annual Tennessee Prep Hoops Carson Newman Showcase and will resume action on September 27th at Concord Christian School in Knoxville.
Team Watts 59
Team Holt 54
Ethan Loveday (Sevier County) and Seth Marshall (Sevier County) each dropped 15 markers as Team Watts improved their record to 2-2 with a narrow 59-54 victory over Stokes Division foe Team Holt.
Drew Fugate (Gatlinburg-Pittman) was the catalyst for Team Watts providing defense and leadership in this down to the wire contest.
Team Watts puts their win streak on the line next Saturday, September 27th against Team Steinnmetz who's 1-3 is not indicative of how they have played this season.
Stanley Valentine (Hampton) led the scoring charge for Team Holt with 14 followed closely by Chase Cerny (CAK) with 10.

Team Upchurch 94
Team Sharp 53
Team Upchurch continues to punish the opposition. Jordan Bowden (Carter) and Kelvin Jackson (Carter) scored 21 and 20 points respectively as Team Upchurch defeats Team Sharp 94-53 and moves their seasonal mark to a gaudy 4-0.
John Woodruff (Carter) had his best game to date scoring 16 for the victors. Miles Thomas (South Doyle) added 10 for Team Upchurch who puts their unblemished mark on display next Saturday, September 27th against Team Matthews (3-1).
The victory spoiled an outstanding effort from Kenaan Berger (Heritage) who scored a game high 22 points for Team Sharp.
Jai Atkins (William Blount) continues his consistent effort this season dropping 17 markers in the loss.
Team Sharp looks to bounce back next Saturday at Concord Christian where they will take on Team Feltner (2-2).
Team Lawhon 82
Team Jeffers 71
Zy Moore (Meigs County) was not going to lose this game. The rising sophomore guard notched 28 points as Team Lawhon knocked Team Jeffers from the ranks of the unbeaten and created a first place logjam in the Stokes Division at 3-1 with an 82-71 triumph.
Moore was far from a one man show as improving junior wing Seth Lenard (Sweetwater) notched 19, including the first 12 of the game and Dylan Brewster (Lenoir City) added 15.
Team Lawhon (3-1) will look to secure that first place mantle all to themselves next Saturday, September 27th as they welcome surging Team Coffin (2-2), winners of their last two games.
Conley Hamilton (Powell) took scoring honors for Team Jeffers with 15 while DeAndre Gibson (Oak Ridge) added 12 and Javien Johnson (Oak Ridge) finished with 11 in the loss.
Team Jeffers looks to bounce back and claim what they feel is theirs as they battle Team Holt next Saturday at Concord Christian.
Team Matthews 69
Team Driscoll 66
Gage Spence (Stone Memorial) showed his senior leadership skills putting the Team Matthews brethren on his back finishing with 20 markers and willing victory over a shorthanded but determined Team Driscoll to the tune of 69-66 this past Saturday at Alcoa High School.
Spence led but was followed closely by Brandon Thomas (Stone Memorial) with 14 and Diego Poore (Cumberland County) and Cameron Hayes (Cookeville) with 11 each.
Team Matthews puts their 3-1 season mark on the line for real next Saturday, September 27th as they tangle with division kingpin Team Upchurch (4-0) at Concord Christian.
Will Snyder (Bearden) led Team Driscoll looking for their first win with 18 markers. Team Driscoll had an open look at the buzzer for the tie but it fell short. Rising freshman Dakota McGowan (Bearden) played outstanding finishing with 13 markers while Davari Reeder (Knoxville Catholic) added 10 in the narrow loss.

Team Coffin 79
Team Steinmetz 76
Tyler Nichols (Elizabethton) scored 18 as Team Coffin pulls out another close win with a 79-76 triumph over Team Steinmetz.
Nichols was assisted in the scoring column by a bevy of teammates, four more to be exact led by Jordan Coffin (Karns) with 16. Darrin Gillenwater (Campbell County) and Braxton Moore (Knoxville Halls) dropped 12 points each and Alex Graham (Karns) chipped in with 11.
Team Coffin has their destiny in their hands as they meet co-division leader Team Lawhon next Saturday, September 27 at Concord Christian.
Team Steinmetz falls to 1-3 with their third close loss of the season. Jacob Cawood (Midway) led all scorers with 21 markers followed by a trio at 14 points including Tajoin Jones (Oak Ridge), Tyler Steinmetz (Oakdale) and Maverick Smith (Oakdale).
Team Steinmetz will meet surging Team Watts (2-2) next Saturday.
Team Garman 57
Team Feltner 52
Team Garman uses tough defense and balanced scoring to capture their first win of the season with a hard fought 57-52 triumph over Team Feltner.
Rising freshman KeJuan Hale-Ligon (Austin East) led Team Garman with 14 markers followed by Brady Nease (Union County) and Donovan Filer (Fulton) with 11 points each.
Team Garman puts their win streak on the line next Saturday, September 27th against Team Driscoll.
John Bryant (Jefferson County) holds onto his league leading scoring average with 25 markers in the loss. Bailey Lamb (Grainger) adds 13 for Team Feltner who look to get back on the right side of the ledger when they tangle against Team Sharp next Saturday at Concord Christian.
