Binder Takes Centre Stage

What would you say if a squad finished last season 26-3, plays in one of the toughest leagues in the country and wanted you on their squad.

You'd say exactly what Kyle Binder (Farragut) said....yes.

The Knoxville senior will take his game to Centre College in Dancille, Kentucly for the next four seasons.

The Colonels finished last seaosn with this gaudy record and look for more next season. Centre plays in the SCAC conference of DIII a dn is coached by Greg Mason.

Binder, who played his summer hoops with the Mid-State Ballerz, will be a welcome addition with his ability to knock down the mid range shot and great floor sense.

Good luck to Kyle and his future endeavors.

The news at Farragut High School does'nt end here. Riley Hunley (Farragut) has accepted an invited walk-on spot with Tennessee Tech. The all-out Hunley will work his tail off in practice and eventually might score some minutes for the Cookeville crew.

Also scoring a scholarship offer this week was the sixth memeber of state runner-up Manassas. Adrew Jefferies (Manassas) will attend Lambuth College in Jackson.
