Big Scoring Efforts Highlight Week #2 of the Tennessee Prep Hoops State Scoring List

Here is our weekly list of the top scoring performances in the state, separated by East, Middle and West Tennessee distinction. One of our favorite features as relayed to me by numerous college coaches of all levels.

This is also the forum to announce milestones including 1,000 point scoring efforts and such. Please let me know if we miss any of that information. You can email me at andre@tnprephoops.com.

My intent is to post this list every Monday or Tuesday throughout the season.

Had some trouble accessing the Nashville paper this week so some of those scores may have been omitted. If you have one please send it to me and Ill add it to next weeks list.

Just another outstanding week for rising senior shooting guard Brady Nease (Union County). The 6'2 gunner picked up where he left off and torched the competition at the Union Discount Pharmacy Classic. Nease dropped 39 against Cocke County, added 29 against Farragut then closed it out with a cool 26 against Morristown West.

Hunter Cary (Columbia Academy) forever etched his name in Bulldog folklore notching his 1,000 point.

This is a big season for my man Jalen Duke (MLK). The rising senior missed the back part of his summer with an eye injury so he is determined to make this a senior season for the books. Duke was magical dropping 36 markers in a huge win over Siegel including a nasty, nasty poster dunk for the tweeters.

Big ups to big man Jacob Cawood (Midway) as the 6'6 senior post surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career. Cawood had two huge games last week including a pair of 30 point efforts against Sunbright and Tellico Plains.

Jonathan Bowlen (Bartlett) is a new name on the West Tennessee hoops scene. Bowlen had an outstanding week dropping 33 points against CBHS and concluded the week with 26 against MUS.

Patrick Good (David Crockett) proved worthy to his moniker as the junior guard helped lead David Crockett to the championship at the 25th anniversary of the Hardees Classic. Good tallied 27 points in the title game against Greeneville after exploding for 43 in the semis against Hampton.

Bailey Lamb (Grainger) parlayed an outstanding Rocky Top Fall League campaign into a wonderful start to his senior season. The Rutledge rifle notched 34 markers against Knoxville Halls and joined the prestigious 1,000 point club for his career.

Marlon Hunter (Houston) has conceded that he will be a top mention every week during our scoring list with efforts including 42 large against Memphis Kirby and another 31 against district foe Germantown.

Brett Warner (Collierville) continues to pile up the points in his final prep campaign. The Delta State signee dropped 35 against Alcorn Christian in a holiday event after starting the event with 25 against Potts Camp.
