"Reviving the pipeline", one of the first orders of business for next Arkansas Razorbacks coach Mike Anderson when he accepted the position earlier this year.
That pipeline we are referring to is obviously the Memphis to Fayetteville connection that brought so many great players from the Bluff City into the fold during the "Forty Minutes of Hell" era in the 90's under Coach Nolan Richardson and his trusted assistant...yes you guessed it Mike Anderson.
Phase started this week as the SEC member received a commitment from Anthlon Bell (Bartlett).
Bell, who played this summer for the vaunted Memphis YOMCA squad, was devastating during the hot months, scorching the nets from Orlando to Las Vegas and several places in between.
He was a perfect scoring option for the powerful inside game of the YOMCA and got noticed by all the big boys during their phenomenal run in July.
Bell becomes the 9th player from the Class of 2012 to join the ranks of D1.
