The Battle of the Best promises to be one of the highlights of the Tennessee Hoop Scene this basketball campaign.
The Gentry Center on the campus of Tennessee State University will host the gala event with the three games including the epic battle between arguably the top two high school programs in the country this season, Oak Hill Academy and Memphis Melrose.
The action tips off at 5:00 with Central Park Christian from Birmingham taking on traditional national power Arlington County Day of Florida.
Central Park Christian features two SEC commitments in Willy Kouassi and Bernard Morena.
At 6:30 Marshall County High School of Tennessee led by Vanderbilt signee Kedren Johnson (Marshall County) battles Alabama power Huntsville Lee and top 100 national recruit Devin Langford.
The big dog tips at 8:00 with Oak Hill Academy led by a slew of the nations top players including Quinn Cook, Ben McLemore, Jordan Adams, Sidiki Johnson and Damien Wilson taking on defending Class AAA Tennessee powerhouse Melrose.
Melrose is led by Memphis signee Adonis Thomas (Melrose). Joining Thomas are Auburn signee Cedric McAfee (Melrose), Southeast Missouri State signee Telvin Wilkerson (Melrose) and Manassas transfer Jo Northington (Melrose).
