Ballerz Bounce Competition at the 2011 Hoops Classic

The Mid-State Ballerz 17's East squad devoured the competition this past weekend at the 2011 Hoops Classic in Murfreesboro.

The Ballerz finished 6-0 and captured the crown behind some balanced scoring from their outstanding backcourt.

Rafeal Tyler (Lake County) fresh off a Class A state title run led a very balanced scoring attack averaging around 11 points per game for the weekend.

Backcourt mate Aaron Wheeler (Morristown East) mirrored his point guard averaging around 11 per game as well.

Dee Oldham (Wilson Central) and Ced Taylor (Dyer County) were lauded by the coaches for their defensive effort and scoring help throughout the event.

Jeff Long (Hendersonville) had the hot hand for most of the weekend scoring around 9 points per contest and Taj Abdul-Kauyder (Siegel) was a beast on the glass and also finished at around 9 markers per game.
