With the junior colleges in high recruiting mode grabbing the remaining players on the board a few more Tennessee signees came across our desk and we would like to make them public.
Nick Schweitzer (FACS)
Schweitzer will take his game way up East to Community Collge of Rhode Island (CCRI) and play for Riock Harris who has guided the Knights to a top 20 finish and a 21-12 final record last season in NJCAA DII.
Tim Ware (BTW)
Ware takes his considerable potential over the border to run the show for venerable coach Richard Mathis and the Pearl River CC Wildcats. Ware has the potential to be a D1 player.
Lavonte Henderson (Clarksville)
The thin but talented Clarksville talent will stay in state and play for Deron Hines and TJCCAA member Jackson State. Henderson helped Clarksville to two state appearances and will be a solid contributor on the next level.
Steve Kerr (Millington Central)
A shooter by no other name, the Millington product averaged 18 per last season and will hop the state line to play for Mineral Area JC. Mineral Area is coached by Corey Tate and the Cardinals are always in the mix for the national tournament.
