423 vs. 865 Fall League Showdown Lives Up to the Hype

423 vs. 865 turned out just as we expected. Two great organization bringing two solid groups of players together in one gym in front of several college coaches and fans. Here is how the day progressed.

 

 

 

 

 

Team Garner 101

Team A. Percell 77

 

Eli Walls (Powell) put on a show for the college coaches, spectators and parents in attendance scoring a tournament high 37 markers as Team Garner started and finished strong with a 101-77 victory over Team A. Percell in the opening game of the inaugural 423 vs. 865 Fall League Hoops Showdown.

 

The rising senior guard scored from every imaginable area on the floor, rocket runs to the rim and deep soft jumpers much to the delight of all who came to watch the action here at Jefferson County High School.

 

Taj Kimber (Fulton) had another fine game himself adding 29 points to the winning effort.

 

Denaj Kimber (Fulton) added 15 while Austin Heard (Powell) finished with 12.

 

Andrew Knittel (Volunteer) took scoring honors in the loss with 22.

 

Joltin Harrison (Volunteer) had a fine game finishing with 15 markers.

 

He was joined in the scoring column by Eli Day (Dobyns-Bennett) with 14 and Bryson Vance (West Ridge) with 13.

 

 

 

Team Holt 89

Team Duggar 62

 

Keishawn Bowman (Knoxville West) led a cavalcade of double digit scorers with a game high 23 markers as Team Holt slid past Team Dugger at the first annual 423 vs. 865 Fall League Showdown.

 

Jaxon Williams (Grainger) added 15, Emmanuel Atkins (Grainger) slid in 14 while a trio of ballers finished hard with 12 including Hayden Moseley (Bearden), Dallas Carbaugh (Farragut) and Jeremiah Jeffers (Knoxville Central).

 

Nicholas Wilson (Elizabethton) scored 18 to lead his squad.

 

Reid Satterfield (Greeneville) added 16, A.J. Murphy (University) finished with 11 and Brayden Kennedy (Greeneville) closed with 10.

 

 

 

 

 

Team Biven 104

Team Hopson 79

 

Will Biven (Knoxville West) and Isaiah Smith (Farragut) scored 26 and 24 points respectively as Team Biven captured the victory with a 104-79 triumph over Team Hopson.

 

Dillon Atwell (Farragut) added 23 while Gabriel Pastrana (Knoxville West) added 15 in the win.

 

Keynan Cutlip (Science Hill) was outstanding scoring a game high 29 markers in the loss.

 

Dalvin Mathes (Science Hill) and Creed Musick (Daniel Boone) added 19 each in defeat.

 

 

 

Team Muggs 72

Team Feltner 67

 

Malachi Hale (Dobyns-Bennett) dropped a game high 25 points as Team Muggs got the 423 Fall League on the board with a solid 72-67 win over Team Feltner.

 

One of the best game of the day, Carter Metz (Dobyns-Bennett) was solid all game long scoring 21 in the victory.

 

Greg Allen (Science Hill) added 13 for the winners.

 

Trey Morrow (Scott) had a fine outing for Team Feltner dropping a team high 22 points.

 

Nick Liakonis (Hardin Valley) added 20 while Jaylen Roberts (Karns) finished with 18.

 

 

 

Team Jackson 86

Team Dawson 65

 

Brady Stump (Dobyns-Bennett) was masterful from start to finish dropping a game high 29 points as Team Jackson handled a short handed Team Dawson 86-65.

 

Dylan Bartley (Sullivan East) added 14 while Jack Browder (Dobyns-Bennett) finished with 12 in the victory.

 

Danny Stanton (Sevier County) led Team Dawson with 23 markers.

 

Altin Perry (FBA) finished with 18 and Jaylon Greene (Knoxville Webb) added 12.

 

 

 

 

 

Team Potts 84

Team Pearce 77

 

Dawson Wagner (David Crockett) made a statement early and often scoring a game high 31 points as Team Potts captured the championship at the inaugural 423 vs. 865 Fall League Showdown.

 

Kyle Cloninger (Morristown East) and Braden Ilic (Morristown East) added 16 each in the title game victory.

 

Blue Cain (Knoxville Catholic) took scoring honors for Team Pearce with 25 points.

 

Spencer Boshears (Campbell County) added 17.
