2009 TUSCULUM COLLEGE COACHING CLINIC

 

October 24th
and 25th

 

High school, middle school and coaches from around the state
make your way to Tusculum
College on the 24th
and 25th of October for the annual Tusculum College Coaches Clinic.

 

A successful event in the past is headlined this year by a
veritable potpourri of college and high schools top mentors.

 

The action begins Saturday with registration beginning at
6:00 followed by East
Tennessee State
mentor Murray Bartow taking the reigns at 7:00. His lesson will focus on the
offensive side of the ball.

 

At 8:30, Mike Roller from Lipscomb High School,
one the state's top coaches, will discuss post play with his session.

 

A question and answer period will begin at 10:00.

 

On Sunday the 25th, things get underway at 9:00
AM with a late registration for those stragglers and a continental breakfast.

 

Lady Vol assistant coach Dean Lockwood takes the stage at
9:30 and will discuss the building of a team culture, very important.

 

At 11:00 Coach Roller will demonstrate on the court and lead
into a coach's social at 12:15.

 

Tusculum
head man Jim Boone will take the court at 1:00 and will discuss and show some
pressure pack line defensive drills to the masses.

 

The Pioneers will take the court for a practice beginning at
2:15 and the clinic concludes at 3:45 with a question and answer session.
